Art and Psychology
I have always been interested in how clay's unique and tactile nature can help us to address and overcome traumatic experiences. With a better understanding of clinical psychology's practices, and clay's therapeutic tendencies, I believe the two can be bound together to heal past traumas. I strive to give people the opportunity to overcome years of trauma without having to relive it through explicit conversations, allowing the clay to do the talking.

As art psychotherapist Joshua K.M. Nan expressed, "What sets it apart from other forms of art therapy, he believes, is clay’s distinctive malleability and the physical exertion it requires."
